  • Brisbane has many modes of transport including train, bus, scooter, e-bikes and City Cat boats to glide you around the city.

    There is a ‘City Hopper’ boat which is completely free and great for exploring.

    Most services you can tap on/off with a debit card but the best way is to get a ‘go card’

  • Some great attractions to visit on your stay. You will note everything is connected in Brisbane by a scenic walking path and Riverwalk bridge. If walking or scootering is your thing, it’s great to explore the botanical gardens, riverside, southbank, etc.

    Howard Smith Wharves under the story bridge. There are great bars, restaurants, places to sit on the river and playgrounds for the kids.

    Southbank Parklands

    A great place for walking, the markets, dining or swimming at the beach and pools.

    EAT STREET (Sat only)

    A short ferry ride for mass eating and entertainment

    This place is really awesome. It’s located at one end of Southbank

    Putt Putt

    There is Holey Moley in the Valley or Victoria Park Golf Course a short walk away

    Bowling

    Strike Bowling in the city is a nightclub themed alley

    Queen Street Mall

    Is about a 15 minute walk from the Valley.

    Mt. Cootha Lookout

    This one is a 10 min drive out of the city and also has the main botanical gardens and planetarium at the bottom of the range as well as awesome walking tracks.

    Clubs and Bars

    ’The Valley’ and surrounds is known for is many watering holes, micro breweries and spots to dance. Ask Mandy for some tailored recommendations.
